Why do you add pigment mask when Microblading?

To ensure an even and smooth coverage El adds pigment mask over the completed hair strokes.

The area will be slightly sensitive after the strokes have been covered with the pigment mask and that's because the pigment contains a tiny amount of alcohol and it disinfects the wound while fulling in the strokes evenly.

But the discomfort wears off after just few seconds.

Is Microblading Pain less?

Although the procedure visit can take up to 2h the actual treatment time is about 30 minutes ( we are very detailed but efficient!) most people report only feeling minor pressure or discomfort and less pain than a typical tattoo or even eyebrows threading or waxing, due to the use of a numbing cream.

Of course, this will depend on your own personal tolerance to pain. Some level of discomfort should be expected.
