Botulinum Toxin Treatment Information
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) Treatment:
Length of appointment: 45 mins
Hyperhidrosis or excessive sweating can be treated very effectively with botulinum toxin. Botulinum toxin is better known for relaxing wrinkles, however, when injected in the skin, the toxin acts on the sweat glands to reduce sweat production. This treatment can be done in the underarms and forehead to significantly reduce sweating in those areas for 3 to 6 months.
Bruxism (teeth grinding):
Length of appointment: 30 mins
Bruxism or teeth grinding is caused by overactive masseter muscles. These are the big muscles on either side of the jaw which help you to chew food. When these muscles are overactive, they can get much bigger. Not only can they make your face look more square and masculine, they can also cause teeth grinding at night and headaches. Botulinum toxin can be used to relax these muscle to effectively relieve the symptoms of teeth grinding. Once the muscles have been relaxed for a few weeks, they will slim down, giving an added benefit of slimming the face down.
Wrinkle relaxing - forehead, glabella (frown lines) and crow’s feet (smile lines):
Length of appointment: 30 mins
The wrinkles that form on the forehead, frown area and on the corners of the eyes are a result of repeated facial expressions as the skin ages in those areas. If the wrinkles in these 3 areas bother you, you can consider a botulinum toxin treatment in any of these areas. This is a safe and effective treatment that can help to relax the muscles that cause those wrinkles for around 3 months. For best results, I would always recommend some skin treatments as well, such as microneedling, to soften any fine lines that have already started to form.

All appointments required a video or phone consultation with a Dr Qian (£50). The Consultation Fee will go towards your treatment if you decide to reserve the treatment. 48 cancellation applies to Consultation cancellations.
Booking Fee £200 will be required to reserve your appointment at the time of the booking. The Booking Fee will go towards the total price of your treatment. The Booking Fee is non-refundable if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled in less than 1 week prior to the appointment time. In such situations the original Booking Fee will NOT go towards the newly rescheduled treatment. The Booking Fee is non-refundable for no-shows. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, it will be at the practitioner’s discretion to decide if you can go ahead with your treatment that day. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you lose your Booking Fee and will need to reschedule your appointment for another date, as well as paying a new Booking Fee towards the new appointment reservation. Please note, every time you are late to your appointment it affects the rest of the appointment times after yours, please be respectful and stay professional.
