Dr Qian Xu splits her time between serving the public as an emergency medicine doctor and as a skin rejuvenation expert, training and practising, helping patients regain their confidence through the natural beauty of their skin. As an Emergency Medic, Dr Xu was on the front lines in A&E working through the COVID-19 pandemic. Now she takes on a leadership role, developing and improving the training and support given to overseas doctors. Outside of the hospital, Dr Xu is well respected as a medical trainer, having been one of the lead aesthetics trainers at Harley Academy, Dr Xu now sits on the Medical Advisory Board for the CCR, bringing together surgical and non-surgical medical aesthetics practitioners to learn best practice.

The Aesthetics Journal regularly features work written by Dr Xu promoting ethical practices and patient guidance for practitioners involved in aesthetics. ‘Looking good is more than skin deep.
